Q. How long have you been in EMS? What is your current position at Marple EMS?
A. I have been in EMS for 8 years. I am currently an Assistant Chief at MTAC.
Q. What made you become a part of EMS?
A. I first gained an interest in EMS while working alongside EMT’s and Paramedics as a volunteer firefighter.
Q. What is the most rewarding part of your job/position?
A.The most rewarding part of my job is being able to directly make a difference in the lives of my patients and their families.
Q. What are your hobbies outside of work?
A. Outside of work I like to spend time with family and friends. I also enjoy doing pretty much anything outdoors. In the warmer months fishing takes up a large part of my time.
Q. What is an interesting fact about you that no one may know?
A. Prior to joining the emergency services I wanted to work in graphic arts. I studied it extensively in high school and even completed two independent study semesters.
Q. What did you want to do while growing up?
A. While growing up I had interest in all aspects of emergency services, but it wasn’t until I got older that I decided EMS was the field that I enjoyed most.
